Field Trip Interest Form: Urban Ventures Farm and Technology: Spring 2024
Please fill out this form if you are interested in scheduling a field trip to Urban Ventures Farm this spring!

Field trips accommodate 15-35 students, pre-K through 12th grade, and are free for MPS schools and Head Start programs. Our funding is location-based, so if you are a Minneapolis-based group besides MPS, you may still be eligible for a free trip. We do not currently offer trips to groups outside Minneapolis.

Trips are 1.5 hours. The farm visit includes harvesting vegetables, interacting with our flock of chickens, and preparing a healthy snack.

If you need to bring more students, its possible to attend a tandem field trip with the Urban Ventures Innovation Hub, making it 3 hours total and accommodating up to 70 students.

Address is 2841 5th Ave S, Minneapolis. Green Central and Anderson classrooms usually walk (15 min) and Whittier and Anishinaabe are bikeable if you have bike access.

Each site (the farm and the Innovation Lab) can only host 35 students at a time. A tandem trip with both sites accommodates up to 70 students and lasts 3 hours. The group would split in half, 35 going to the farm and 35 to Innovation lab, then switching. Which format do you prefer?
