Join a Lenten Small Group

We are so glad you would like to join a small group at Southminster during the season of Lent! We have a new devotional from A Sanctified Art called, "Again and Again: A Lenten Refrain." There are four entries for each week of Lent and the devotionals also come with daily devotional cards to deepen your spiritual practices during Lent. Discussion questions will be sent to the group leaders each week.

Groups will be assigned based on availability preferences. We hope it will be an opportunity for you to get to know members of the church that you may not have the chance to interact with as frequently as others. Due to the more contagious COVID strain, all groups will be online via Zoom.

Groups will meet once a week during the 6 weeks of Lent, including Holy Week. Lent goes from February 21 to April 2.

You will be contacted by Pastor Laura with your group members and all the information you'll need for your weekly gatherings. Your group members will be able to decide on the specific time and day that work best for your group.

We received feedback from the last round of small groups that having a discussion leader would be helpful. Discussion leaders will be sent the discussion questions in advance and will be responsible for helping the group have a fruitful conversation.
