Community and Digital Block Captain Application
When COVID hit, we knew too well that there is a disaster after the disaster. Together, we can combat isolation and take action for solutions our communities deserve. Join our community captains program to connect and make a difference.
This survey/application has 2 Sections.
#1 Digital Block Captains reach out to the same 15 people each week with action alerts, invites and general check-ins. Generally they volunteer 1-4 hours a week depending on availability. There is more info in the description of that section.
#2 Apply to be a Community Captain. Captains do broad outreach to New Jersey residents about the issues we organize around. Community Captains apply for paid positions and typically spend 5 or more hours week doing outreach, checking-in with other captains and helping to organize our Friday Community Coming Together Calls. We also need 1 or 2 Captains who are data or tech wizes - and if that's your strength not outreach, apply, and let us know.
