Clerical - shelving and shelf reading, retrieving items from shelves, organizing museum passes, preparing children's crafts, etc. (weekly)

Literary - for readers; maintaining "teen Reader recommendations" display, reading professional reviews and suggesting new acquisitions, running a regular book club, creating short videos/podcasts recommending new books etc. (flexible)

Physical - shifting collections, moving discarded or donated books, dressing in character costumes for children's programs, moving tables or furniture for events, cleaning/dusting etc. (as needed/special events)

Educational - advising and assisting with programs for kids and teens, teaching your special skills to others through video or programs, etc. (monthly)

Creative - creating bulletin board, creating flyers or social media posts for books or events, designing/preparing crafts, decorating teen space, etc. (flexible)

PLEASE NOTE: Some types of work can only accommodate a limited number of volunteers, and we have had many students apply this year. As of right now, all applicants who only check off clerical, physical, and creative will be placed on a wait list and notified when more opportunities are available. *
