2023/2024 INSPIRE Junior Dance Educator Program Application Form
We love teaching and learning at Evolutions School of Dance. While providing premium dance education to our students is our priority, we also are passionate about inspiring the dance teachers of the future. Our Junior Instructors work closely with our Inspire Program Lead, Dance School Directors, ESD faculty and students, gaining experience observing and utilizing various teaching techniques and tools in the dance studio. The relationships and connections formed between our junior instructors and younger students are valuable to everyone, both in the studio and out.

Our INSPIRE Junior Dance Educator Program is for serious ESD dancers who want to expand and grow their teaching experience, gaining knowledge and information in a variety of areas relating to dance education and instruction. This is also a fabulous way to gain volunteer experience, earn CALM credits or community work experience.

Roles & Responsibilities of an INSPIRE Junior Dance Educator:
*Junior Dance Educators are our Performance Division or Intensive Program students who have demonstrated excellent teaching potential.  Junior Dance Educators  (JDE's) are required to be taking a minimum of 2 classes with Evolutions.  JDE's will be paired with an ESD faculty member during a class we feel is the best placement for optimal learning, and experience.  We work hard to try to keep the classes to the days they will already be at the studio.  Junior Dance Educator's are required to attend 2 in person workshops (September 10th & January 14th), under the direction of our INSPIRE Program Lead, are required to have consistent attendance in both their regular classes and and INSPIRE Program classes. Additional learning, work, responses, and pre planned contributions to their INSPIRE Program classes are a requirement of this program.
