SLT Service Hours 2023-2024
Every school year, our Ryan Band SLT members are required to have service hours. Once you have completed service hours, please fill out the following survey.

Examples of ways to earn your service hours are:
Volunteering for Concessions at University of North Texas.
Volunteering for the Don Hanna Memorial Marching Contest.
Volunteering for ANY Booster Fundraisers Throughout the School Year.
Outside of Rehearsal Time, Including Assisting Band Directors with Band Hall Management. Ask a Band Director for Details and Must Be Approved by a Band Director.

Form must be completed no later than 1 week (7 days) after completing the volunteer hours for the event. We will not accept late entries.


  1. TOTAL SERVICE HOURS REQUIRED OF OFFICERS PER SCHOOL YEAR

  • 100 Hours: Drum Majors and Band Captains

  • 85 Hours: All Section Leaders

  • 60 Hours: Librarians and Quartermasters

  • These are band service hours and are in addition to the specific responsibilities required of each SLT member

SLT that does not meet the volunteer requirements is subject to removal of their SLT position.
