THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE TO JOIN.
Our theme is “Gingerbread Village”. What do you want to see in our gingerbread village? Houses? Apartments? Playgrounds? Schools? Parks? Merry-go-rounds? Skytrain or LRT?
All items and decorations used must be edible and non-flammable. The only non-edible items that you can use are the frame and Christmas lights. (Note: Christmas lights must be battery operated LED.)
Prizes: Elementary Schools (staff or students): $500, $250
High Schools (staff, students, club, team): $750, $500, $250, $100
There will be a special prize of $500 to the top Surrey High School (whether or not they have placed in the top 4)
Post-Secondary (staff, students, admin, clubs, departments): $500, $250
Charities/Non-Profits (staff, volunteer *if you win under this category, the prize money must go towards the organization): $500, $250
Service/Community Groups (Lions Club, Rotary Club, neighborhood/community association, religious centres): $500, $250
Businesses (excluding professional bakers *professional bakers will be judged under "People's Choice" category only): $500, $250
Open (individual, family, friends, local sports team): $500, $250
Entries will be displayed at Central City Shopping Centre from Saturday, December 7th to Sunday, December 15th during mall hours.
Entries must be delivered to Central City Shopping Centre on December 6th between 10am-9pm.
