Penn WSDC 2024 Phase 1 Registration
PLEASE READ THE BELOW INFORMATION IN FULL BEFORE SUBMITTING <3 

This form should be filled out by a delegation representative who will receive all updates/information. Multiple teams registering under the same institution need only have one representative fill out the form. 

FEES
32 USD/debater if this form is submitted by March 15, 2024 (11:59PM EST.)
37 USD/debater for submissions beyond the above date. Final reg deadline is March 26, 2024 (11:59PM EST.)

Please contact us if you need a fee discount/waiver. Priority will be granted based on need, then chronological order of requests. 

TEAMS
Each team must consist of 3-5 members. Hybrid teams (made up of debaters from multiple institutions) are allowed. Please see facebook event link for debater eligibility.

INSTITUTIONAL JUDGE REQUIREMENTS
National teams — 1 judge of breaking quality per team (n=1)
All other teams — n/2 rounded down.

Institutional judges must be available for all in-rounds. Missing judge fee = 75 USD/judge. Requirements can be reduced on a case-by-case basis if institutions provide extremely qualified judges.

Breaking teams are also required to provide institutional judges in each out-round that they qualify for. Judge requirements are the same as in-rounds (n=1 for national, n/2 rounded down for everyone else)

In this form you must provide us with:
  1. the number of teams you are registering. All teams from the same institution (not counting hybrids) must be accounted for in ONE form submission.
  2. the total number of debaters who will be competing (i.e. if you're sending three teams of five debaters each, your total number of debaters is 15.)
  3. the total number of institutional judges you will be providing. 
ALL SUBMITTED INFORMATION IS BINDING. Drop-outs will be fined in increasing severity as the date of the tournament gets closer, unless extenuating circumstances are communicated to and accepted by the Tournament Directors.
