Applied Cyber Competition Team Interest Survey
Since 2016 the Stanford Applied Cyber team has participated in over 80 cybersecurity competitions, achieving top placements in more than 20. Notably, we secured three consecutive National Championships in the Collegiate Penetration Testing Competition (2017, 2018, 2019), and attained third place in the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition in 2020 and 2022 before taking the championship title in 2023.

Our ranking as a world-class collegiate cyber team is a testament to our passion for hacking and team camaraderie!

Prospective recruits must possess or develop exceptional cyber skills; but moxie, determination, and commitment are the hallmarks of success in this field.
