In TECH THEATRE III, students will continue to study and apply design.. Students will apply those skills in longer form projects. Students will begin to develop areas of specialization within the program. In the Spring students will begin preparing to apply to post-secondary education and career paths. This class can be taken along with the Stagecraft class.

In TECH THEATRE IV, students will continue to develop advanced design and skills through projects. Students will take on leadership roles under the supervision of the instructor. Students will continue to prepare for and complete college applications. This class can be taken along with the Stagecraft class.

Students interested in joining Technical Theatre III or IV must meet the following criteria and complete this application no later than 4:15 pm on Friday, March 8th, 2024.

Students will study and begin to apply the skills necessary to be successful artists and technicians for the theatre. Instruction and demonstration will lead directly into group discussion and projects. This class can be taken along with the Stagecraft class.

• Please write a one-page, double-spaced essay discussing what interests you about Technical Theatre,  why do you want to learn about Technical Theatre, and what hobbies/interests/artistic skills you already possess?

• Have one current teacher complete the Recommender Form with your application. (Recommenders must be teachers you are currently enrolled with in school.)
