The GUSOM Generation I Program is a community of Georgetown Medicine students, faculty, and alumni who are: the first in their family to attend college/professional school and/or the first in their families born in the United States and/or have family who are first generation physicians. The mission of this program is to build an inclusive home for Georgetown's first generation medical students and provide alumni, faculty, and staff the opportunity to give back to their communities in an impactful way through mentorship.
