Sometimes you have to get a little uncomfortable to achieve true comfort. That’s the premise of this session, designed to be a frank and hard-hitting event during which attendees will hear personal narratives about historical contexts and microaggressions that inhibit LGBTQIA+ inclusivity even today, after which they will explore and celebrate how individuals (LGBTQIA+ or otherwise) can find “their voice” and authenticity in a heteropatriarchal society.
