The Practicum Application Form is used by 3rd & 4th year Social Science & Humanities students to initiate their participation in, and commitment to, the Practicum application process.  

To be eligible for the Practicum course, students must have 4th year standing (84 credit hours) and an overall minimum 'B' average (3.0 or greater). The Experiential Learning Office will verify these criteria prior to confirming your acceptance.

The first step to applying is completing and submitting this online Practicum Application Form by (March 31, 2021 at 12:00 p.m.). Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.  The application will be reviewed by the Experiential Learning Office and used to determine and assess professional suitability and readiness.

Read before continuing:

1) This form will allow you to submit and re-open to edit your responses.  Note, some fields are required and will need text input to submit the form.

2) Sections 3 and 4 of the application form ask you to identify specific organizations and areas of interest to you. Your answers will help the Experiential Learning Office to understand the types of environments, activities, projects, populations, and issues you are targeting for your placement experience. The best answers are thorough and specific.  You are encouraged to research areas of interest and reflect on your goals for the Practicum experience.
