Please fill out this form to express your interest in going on the 2023 Uganda Go Team. The goal of this trip is to visit Covenant Children's Home, a home for AIDS orphans in Uganda. Highland Park will be taking a leading role in helping to build a second children's home for 100 children, doubling their capacity. We will also visit other ministry sites throughout Uganda with a special emphasis on the creative ways the ministry is practicing food sovereignty through sustainable agriculture and animal husbandry. One such site is a vocational training high school called Midwest. It is the only vocational training high school in Uganda, and needs support to finish a third floor on the building as well as furnish the training center with things like computers, sewing machines and other equipment. We will go there to learn more about the school and how we can support their efforts to launch high schoolers into productive lives. The cost of the trip is $4,000. Significant scholarships are available for those actively serving at Highland park and contributing to missions giving through Faith Promise.
