Free Farming Resilience Advice
The Landworkers Alliance has been successful in a bid to DEFRA to deliver Farming Resilience Advice to 500 farmers. We will be creating a resilience toolkit, webinars, films, farm tours and one to one advice/mentoring delivered by Pasture Fed Livestock Association and Organic Research Centre.

The advisory will be FREE for farmers in the following sectors LOCATED IN ENGLAND.

-  Medium to large scale horticulture (above 5 hectares)

-  SME dairy production

-  SME red meat production

-  Mixed farming systems

Please note that all eligible farmers will need an SBI number and not be in receipt of advice from another FFRF provider.

Advisors will help farmers look at their whole farming systems to evaluate their business and farming model from inputs to the end supply chain, identifying ways to help the farm business become more environmentally sustainable in preparation for ELMS and more economically sustainable as BPS income ends.

The free advice runs from September 2021 until March 2022. Please fill in this form if you would like to be added to our list of farmers who would like to access advice. The project does not start until September, so we will be in touch in September to invite you to fill in a full farm assessment so we can connect you with appropriate resources, webinars, farm visits, advice or mentoring. The horticulture focused advice will be more appropriate for farms above 5 hectares, but if you are a horticulture farm below 5 hectare do register your interest and we will seek to support you if possible.
