For teacher training tuition assistance at SAA-sanctioned teacher development workshop or SAA conference.  

Eligibility:  
Teacher Scholarships are available to any MTSA teacher member after completing their first full year of membership.  Very beginning teachers (with no Suzuki training yet) are not yet eligible for MTSA membership and we encourage them to apply for scholarships through the SAA.

Application Checklist:
- Completed online application
- Essay: Please submit a 1 – 2 page essay of 800-1000 words explaining why you have chosen to be a Suzuki teacher.  The essay must also detail your current teaching activities or experience with young children, how you can or have been involved in the MTSA, your teaching goals and how you would like to use this scholarship.
- Last years tax-return.  Please black out your social security number

Deadline:  
February 1, 2020.  Essays sent via mail must be postmarked by February 1, 2020.  Late applications will not be considered.

Applications will be accepted beginning December 1, 2019
