CONTINUING NOSE WORK 2023

Please submit this online form to sign up for the Nose Work dog training classes presented by Mountain Dogs in Gunnison CO. Dates, times and location may vary and will be confirmed by Mountain Dogs.

INTRO TO NOSE WORK is the beginning class for canine scent detection work and advancing to become a search dog team with your companion pet dog.

Nose Work training classes are $25.00 PER DOG PER CLASS.

CONTINUING NOSE WORK is the next step in Nose Work training after completion of Intro to Nose Work. IN Continuing Nose Work we advance to Intro to Odor and Odor Recognition Test (ORT) Preparation.

Your Nose Work journey starts with enrolling in this class and learning how to be a NOSE WORK TEAM progressing from finding a favorite toy or treat reward to locating target odors in a competition setting at sanctioned dog trials (NACSW, AKC or others). Intro to Nose Work is just the beginning step to build a confident dog, hunting with you as a teammate, learning target odors and advancing to competition skiils in advanced classes thereafter.
