I … a huge steel construction considered to be one of iconic symbols of the country and its capital, often named «Coathanger». It was designed and built by Dorman Long of Middlesbrough and opened in 1932. It is the eighth longest construction of this type in the world, measuring 134 m (440 ft).

II… is widely regarded as one of the world's most famous and distinctive buildings and a masterpiece of 20th-century architecture. Designed by the Danish architect, but completed by an Australian architectural team headed by Peter Hall, it was formally opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 20 October 1973. As one of the most popular attractions in Australia, the site is visited by more than eight million people annually, and approximately 350,000 visitors take a guided tour of it each year.

III … finest creation of nature, one of the most famous and picturesque tourist attractions of Australia, located in the Kosciuszko National Park, Snowy Mountains (region of New South Wales) at the height of 1,600 meters (5,200 ft) above sea level, having many sections. It is annually visited by millions of people from all over the world.

IV … is located in Southeastern Australia, spanning three states - Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. It rises in the Australian Alps, forming the border between the states of New South Wales (NSW) and Victoria. The total length is 2520 kilometers. From an east-west direction it turns south at Morgan for its final 315 km (196 miles), reaching the eastern edge of Lake Alexandrina. For half a century from 1853 it was a virtual highway.

V… an unusual natural formation of land erosion, aged about 200 million years, in New Southern Wales, on the north escarpment of the Jamison Valley, located close to the town of Katoomba. It is considered to be one of the finest attractions of the country. The site receives more than 600,000 visitors from all over the world per year.

VI … is named in 1875 by a team led by Australian explorer Ernest Giles and considered to be a World Wildlife Fund eco-region. It is over 430 miles wide (from west to east) and covers an area of 134,650 square miles from the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia to the Gawler Ranges in South Australia. Some threatened mammals live in this region like the hill dunnart, the Southern marsupial mole, and the malleefowl.

VII … a large natural formation in the southern part of the Northern Territory in Australia. It lies 335 km (208 mi) south-west of the nearest large town, Alice Springs. It is sacred to the Pitjantjatjara, the Aboriginal people of the area, known as the Aṉangu. The area around the formation is home to an abundance of springs, waterholes, caves and ancient paintings.

VIII … a very popular visitor attraction, located in the central highlands region of Tasmania. It`s encircled by well maintained walking paths which lead to the Mountain. The place was named by prominent local Gustav Weindorfer after the official visit of the Van Diemen's Land Company. The locality is unique and covers Nothofagus gunnii, tussock grasses, snow gums and pencil pines. Among the animals inhabiting the place there are numerous wombats, echidnas, tiger snakes.
