JBF St. Charles County is hiring! We love working with you and could not put this event on without you!! 

• This is a seasonal position with no future employment guarantees.  
• Team Members will make $12.30/hr. All team members must work 8 hours to be a team member. 
• This form is for the spring 2024 event, April 10th -14th.

Once you fill out this form, we will add you to our scheduling system - Homebase. You will receive an email from Homebase (it may reference "Peak Worldwide LLC" - that's us!) to create an account and fill out a W-9. *Note: All team members that earn $600 from working or valet tagging in a calendar year will receive a 1099 from us. Therefore, we are required to have a W-9 on file. 

We will release the schedule February 14th. At that time, you will be able to see the open shifts and "claim" which shifts you would like to work. You may work as many shifts as you'd like. We recommend downloading the Homebase app for easy scheduling. You will also use this to clock in and out at the sale. Team members will be responsible for verifying all their clock rings at the end of each day. If there are any discrepancies, we need to be notified by email (amberegan@jbfsale.com or kyleepanus@jbfsale.com) within 24hrs of said shift to review and make any necessary corrections.

We MIGHT be able to accommodate custom shifts but first try and fill all pre-determined shifts. This is to ensure we have the right amount of staff at all times. If you would like to be considered for a custom shift, please email amberegan@jbfsale.com or kyleepanus@jbfsale.com with your request. We will get back with you within a week after we release the schedule.

We will reach out again 1 week before the event to give more information on things like early shopping, parking, and general info on shifts.

JBF Team Waiver: St. Charles County

Thank you for being part of the JBF Team! Please read the following statements carefully and acknowledge this agreement to indicate your understanding of and agreement with the JBF Team Member commitment.

I, the undersigned Team Member, agree that I am not an employee of Just Between Friends, Inc. or Peak Worldwide LLC, and that JBF will not provide me with insurance, worker’s compensation, sick leave, vacation pay, retirement, social security, disability, health, or unemployment benefits or any other benefits of an employee. Instead, I am offering my services as an independent contractor and this waiver shall not constitute the formation of a partnership, joint venture, employment, principal/agent, or master/servant relationship between the parties.

I agree to completely fulfill my self-elected time commitments. If I am unable to do so, I will make arrangements with the Event Organizer, Amber Egan/Kylee Panus, as soon as possible so that they can make other arrangements. I understand that I will clock in and out to track my pay out. I have selected the shift(s) that work best with my schedule and skills.

I am participating as a Team Lead of JBF in an ethical manner and agree that I am not attempting to learn JBF business practices, operations techniques, or any other business matters that may or may not be trademarked, registered, or proprietary in any way.

I acknowledge that I am performing services as a Team Member on a temporary basis, and that no continuing contractual arrangement will exist between myself and JBF St. Charles County. I am not required to devote full time services to JBF St. Charles County and am free to continue or pursue all other forms of gainful work available to me.

As a Team member I will receive $12.30/hr for the time I have elected to spend helping at the sale. I am not entitled to any further compensation.  I also acknowledge as a paid hourly team member; I am not eligible for any drop-off and/or sort bonuses. 

I, grant and convey to JBF St. Charles County all right, title, and interest in any and all photographic images and video or audio recordings made by the organizer during my participation in any activities under this agreement, including, but not limited to, any royalties, proceeds, or other benefits derived from such photographs or recordings.
