Thank you for your interest in being apart of the launch team for my upcoming book of poetry, as the Sparrow flies.  Filling out this application will help me get a sense of who wants to be joining us, and hopefully will help me weed out any potentially creepers/robots. :) 

The launch team is scheduled to Open January 23, 2024 and will Close for new members on January 27th. No new members will be added after this date. We will run for approximately six weeks, through the launch of the book on February 20th, and then we will gently close our time together March 1, 2024.

I am planning on running the entire launch team from this specially created, short-term Substack—no social media required (except for posting about the book if you have it, that would be much appreciated!

1. You will be receiving an early Advanced Reader Ebook version of as the Sparrow flies for FREE.

2. You will be given access to exclusive discussion threads with other readers and myself as you read through the book. (Book Club anyone?)

3. You will have access to an exclusive interview with my artist friend Bethanie Pack, who created all the original artwork for the book.

4. You will be invited (but certainly not required) to participate in a four week “Poetry as Therapy” workshop, where you can try writing you own poems, with helpful prompts to get you started, and encouraging words from me and your fellow readers.

5. Upon completing your reviews on launch day, you will be entered in a raffle with three chances to win additional paperback copies of as the Sparrow flies, as well as prints of Bethanie Pack’s original artwork! (Each review gets you one entry, so the more places you review the book, the more chances you have to win!)
