#CIIA24 Scholarship Application
Thanks to generous donors and sponsors, for the 1st time Comprehensible Iowa is pleased to announce attendee scholarships for CIIA24. The goal of these scholarships is to allow more teachers the chance to attend CIIA. 

This form is for potential attendees of Comprehensible Iowa June 7th-8th, 2024 in Gilbert, IA. The potential attendee scholarship is for the value of $100, early bird pricing for both Friday workshops & Saturday of Comprehensible Iowa 2024. Attendees are responsible for their own travel and accommodations. The CIIA website has more information about lodging options. 

To apply for an attendee scholarship for CIIA, please fill out this Google Form by April 15th. 
Scholarship winners will be notified by April 22nd. 
Attendees will be responsible for registering for the conference with the given scholarship code by May 1st. If an attendee is awarded a scholarship & has already registered and paid as an individual,  they will be reimbursed. 

Terms & Conditions
  • Filling out this form does not guarantee a scholarship. 
  • Sponsors may have specified preferred criteria for scholarships. Ex preference will be given to an early career teacher. Every attempt will be made to honor these preferences, but if no candidates apply with the stated preference, the scholarship will be awarded to the most suitable candidate.  
  • If a scholarship winner is not able to attend CIIA, they must notify Allison.Wienhold@gmail.com ASAP. Team CIIA will award the scholarship to another applicant. A winner may not transfer ownership of the scholarship. 
  • If a scholarship winner is a no show for CIIA June 7th-8th, 2024 in Gilbert, IA, without notifying Allison by June 1st, they will be responsible for reimbursing the $100 scholarship to CIIA.
