Futsal Registration 2023 - Term 1 
Welcome,  

Below is the Futsal Summer Sport registration offered at Balmacewen Intermediate.

Registrations need to be entered by Friday February 10th. 

Payment for all sports must be made by Sunday, February 19th (end of week 3) - Balmacewen has a no pay, no play policy.

Below is a brief blurb of when and where Futsal is played so your child/children can make an informed choice about which sports they would like to participate in.

In most sports, parent help is desperately needed. If there is not enough parent help, some students will not be able to play their desired sport/s. Please consider offering to help coach/manage/co-manage your child's sports team, it is very much appreciated! 

If you are thinking about offering your assistance but are not too sure what is required, please get in touch with either the Teacher in Charge of the sport or our Sports Coordinator Kate Ebrahim and they will be more than happy to talk you through it.

Being apart of sport teams and sport events at Balmacewen Intermediate is all about developing the understanding of what independence and responsibility is and what being a team player is all about. Therefore, it is vital for all students who sign up for sport, to remember;
- Attend any meetings or uniform handouts 
- Attend trainings before school, during lunchtime or after school
- Listen carefully to the school daily notices for information 
- Communicate clearly with either there coaches/manages/TIC or our Sports Coordinator if needed.

Futsal ($45) - Includes entry into Edgar Centre. 

Futsal is played on a Wednesday at the Edgar Centre during Term 4 and runs for 7 weeks, starting October 26th and finishing December 7th. 

Games are 30 minutes long and game times are anywhere between 4pm and 7pm. 

Transport & Uniform: Students will need to find their own way to and from the Edgar Centre and must play in Balmacewen PE uniform.  

For safety, all players must wear shin pads, with any rugby or football socks covering them (no school socks). NO SHIN PADS, NO PLAY!
