MULTI-STAKEHOLDER INITIATIVE TO SUPPORT SOUTH AFRICAN HEALTHCARE WORKERS
This is a multi-stakeholder initiative aimed at coordinating a database of mental health care providers who are willing to volunteer their time to help health care workers to help them cope psychologically during this time of  the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
We would therefore like to create a comprehensive database that allows for the linking of psychologists, psychiatrists and social workers with health care workers who may need assistance. The aim is to provide virtual/online support, in line with the President’s directive to limit movement and interaction.
 
Please note that the aim of this is to coordinate and consolidate all other groupings attempting to offer such support. We appreciate all of these groupings and feel it is optimised by having a coordinated approach.
