Maggie Brunson Memorial Fund Application
Maggie Brunson served as a Junior Board Member for Key Changes therapy Services. She was passionate about helping us achieve our mission, and never met a stranger that she didn't immediately love. Her favorite board member duty was to help plan the chili cookoff that happened in the fall of 2019. If you were there, Maggie would have invited you to get your face painted and to dance in the bubbles with her.

In the Spring of 2020, COVID happened, and everything stopped. In the first week of May, Maggie was flown to MUSC with serious health complications, and after a week of fighting (and Maggie was the strongest fighter you ever knew), her body couldn’t keep up with her determination, and Maggie passed out of this life.

It is in memory of her determination, her courage, her fierce love, and her kindness, that we created the Maggie Brunson Memorial fund. A fund that supports two $500 scholarships each year to provide creative arts therapies to an individual in need. We look forward to continuing Maggie's love of supporting her community through the administration of these funds.
