Worship Restart Survey
Bermuda Hundred UMC has formed a Healthy Church Team (previously known as our Reopening Committee) to develop a plan for restarting in-person Sunday worship. It is this group's job to advise the pastor and lay leadership on the most safe and effective ways that we can welcome worshippers in our church building.

The Virginia Conference of the UMC has consulted with clergy, medical professionals, and legal counsel and subsequently provided guidelines for on-site worship which we will be required to follow. We are also required to follow regulations issued by the state of Virginia for safeguarding public health.

Understanding the health needs and concerns of our congregation is key to our team's mission to offer safe in-person worship. Through this survey we want to hear your thoughts and feelings relating to our possibilities for offering in-person worship. Let us know how we can help you grow closer to God and each other!

PLEASE NOTE:

A) In all possible cases, we will continue to live stream our worship services. We will do all we can to maintain a safe environment that you can trust, but we also respect your own judgment. We encourage you to join us physically only when you feel it is safe to join us in person.

B) This survey asks for your email address for two reasons: 1) sending you a copy of your answers via email, & 2) making a record for the church office of who has answered the survey. We will not connect your identity with your answers as we use this data! We simply want to know who hasn't responded so we can contact them by alternative means.
