We see that the clarifier effectiveness decreases slightly once the level of flocs in the floc filter reaches the hopper (one of the next couple of videos has a very cool video of the flow filter growing this level!) because the "blue" flocs that aren't full are settling into the floc hopper. If you were to design this system to preferentially remove the full flocs what floc characteristic would you want to use?
