NJDEP is looking for YOUR input on proposed projects to reduce sewage overflows and local wastewater flooding in Hoboken, Weehawken, West New York and the Hudson River. 

Now is our chance to weigh in before plans are finalized. Ensure the projects provide maximum benefits to public and environmental health and protect the auspicious Hudson River. All comments are due May 15th 2023.

Jersey Water Works is a collaborative effort of many diverse organizations and individuals who embrace the common purpose of transforming New Jersey’s inadequate water infrastructure by investing in sustainable, cost-effective solutions that provide communities with clean water and waterways; healthier, safer neighborhoods; local jobs; flood and climate resilience; and economic growth.

The goal of the Jersey Water Works Combined Sewer Overflow Committee is to have municipalities and utilities adopt innovative CSO Long Term Control Plans with cost-effective solutions that meet or exceed permit requirements and provide multiple community benefits.
