Starting January 2020, Friendswood Youth Baseball will offer our Renwick Rebels tournament team program during spring season.

Renwick Rebels Baseball is a affordable select tournament team program built and operated by Friendswood Youth Baseball (FWYB). The goal of Renwick Rebels Baseball is to allow Friendswood’s youth athletes an opportunity to play higher level baseball. Teams will have the ability to play in PONY, USSSA, NATIONS, and other sanctioned events throughout the year while remaining a part of the FWYB league. Tryouts will be open to all registered FWYB players and announced on our website and Facebook page

Our spring season registration is open NOW! The Renwick Rebels season will run in conjunction with FWYB spring season, allowing players to participate in both weekend tournaments and league games.

Renwick Rebels will be offered for 7u, 8u, 9u, 10u, 11u and 12u. ALL Friendswood baseball players that live within the FWYB boundary map are welcome to attend tryouts. Spots are limited on each roster. This program is intended for experienced baseball players who wish to compete at a higher level in addition to regular spring season. Practices will be held at Renwick Park while games will be played in the greater Houston area.

Renwick Rebels Baseball teams may play in Sunday league USSSA/Nations/PONY Baseball tournament games as well as USSSA/Nations/PONY Baseball weekend tournaments in the surrounding areas. The PONY Age Chart will be used for Spring rosters. Players cannot cross divisions, ex: a Mustang Player cannot play Pinto, a Pinto cannot play Shetland.

Renwick Rebels fees for the team will be paid to the managers per tournament to cover the cost of team tournament entry fees. $22/jersey, $30/hat and any additional uniform expenses the team agrees upon.
