Partnering to Support TCSD v3
Hello Systems of Education Partner,
The Systems of Education team (SOE) was able to support remote learning during the first seven Fridays of the school year at JES, CES, WES, and MMES due to the collective action of many organizations in our community. This effort provided teachers and administrators an opportunity to prepare for learning during a pandemic, provided families with high quality care during uncertain times, provided students with educational and fun experiences and supported the community by keeping students at their home school in grade level pods.
TCSD has decided to continue the current learning model for elementary students until at least December 11, 2020. SOE is excited to provide 6 more weeks of support and educational programming on the following Fridays:
October 23 and 30
November 6 and 13
December 4 and 11
We are working to gather a group of educators and guides from across the community to provide these 6 days of learning and wonder at each of the four schools in town. TCSD has been recognizing all of the organizations offering support for programming including parent communications, school board meetings and the TCSD website.
Please complete this survey if you are willing and able to support this community effort.
We have two needs.
1. We need pod leaders (guides, educators or others with childcare experience) working in pairs to supervise one set of 10 students for the day.
2. We are looking for additional educators interested in doing one hour "pop-in" enrichment programs.

COVID-19 mitigation measures would, at least, adhere to the standards laid out by CDC, TCSD, and local public health guidance.
