Help us shape TICTeC
mySociety has run our Impacts of Civic Technology Conference (TICTeC) since 2015 (see https://tictec.mysociety.org/).

TICTeC’s core ethos is that every organisation developing and running technology that serves citizens — including ourselves — should do so with evidence-based research at the forefront of their decisions, and should examine their impacts. This is to ensure validity and legitimacy, but also to curb and mitigate possible detrimental and unintended consequences. TICTeC helps us all do that better.

As detailed in this blog post (http://blogs.mysociety.org/mysociety/2020/09/14/talking-tictec-2021/), mySociety won't be able to host our global TICTeC conference as usual in March/April next year due to the continuing complications of the coronavirus pandemic. Therefore, to keep the TICTeC spirit alive, we’re looking to organise some extra TICTeC initiatives over the coming months, in addition to our autumn 2020 TICTeC Seminar series.

This survey will help the TICTeC team understand how we can create experiences and initiatives that best meet the goals and needs of those working on, using, researching or funding civic technology.

Your responses are anonymous. Responses will be used by mySociety to evaluate and improve TICTeC, and we may share responses with specific funders/sponsors when fundraising for the TICTeC programme. If you have any questions about how your responses will be used, please contact Gemma Moulder: gemma@mysociety.org.
