The Turing Way - Book dash application
The Turing Way invites you to submit your application via this Google form to participate in the upcoming Book Dash event taking place online from "08-12 November 2021". The Deadline for submission is "01 October 2021".

The Turing Way Book Dash is a collaborative event where you'll work with others to add to and improve The Turing Way book and become a part of its community. Read details about the Book Dash in The Turing Way community handbook: https://the-turing-way.netlify.app/community-handbook/bookdash.html.

Participants will be required to attend at least one coworking session (2.5 hours each) per day virtually. They will NOT be asked to block the entire workweek (or full day) for this event, but flexibly plan their schedule as per their availability and comfort.
- We will host three development sessions (2.5 hours each) and one social networking session (1.5 hours) from 08 to 11 November, and two community share-out events (2 hours each) on 12 November. See this chapter for details: https://the-turing-way.netlify.app/community-handbook/bookdash/bookdash-events.html#development-sessions.
- Successful applicants and mentors will be able to claim "financial reimbursement to support their participation in the Book Dash" as laid out in the online chapter: https://the-turing-way.netlify.app/community-handbook/bookdash.html.

This form is open for:
- First time attendees to send in their application describing where/how in the project and community they would like to contribute.
- Previous Book Dash attendees to express their interest to participate again as contributors and/or mentors. (A Book Dash mentor will be facilitating other attendees' contributions in one or multiple of the development sessions based on their interest and availability.)

This application will likely take 30 minutes to complete. You can use this template document with all the questions to prepare your application: https://tinyurl.com/tw-bookdash-template.
