SMU Cox: Equal Pay for Equal Work Discussion and Workshop
Join SMU Cox's Graduate Admissions office in learning more about the history and pathways to pay equity from SMU Dedman School of Law Professor Joanna Grossman, the inaugural Ellen K. Solender Endowed Chair in Women and the Law. A Stanford Law graduate and expert in both family law and sex discrimination, Professor Grossman has written and contributed to an extensive array of books, articles, presentations, and publications centered on sex discrimination and workplace equality.
Over the course of a woman’s career, the pay gap can add up to hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost wages, a particularly salient issue for women of color.
Ready to negotiate? Professor Robin Pinkley, the Janet and Craig Duchossois Endowed Professor of Management and Organizations at the Edwin L. Cox School of Business is the founder of the M2M (Master to Master) Center for Profitable Negotiation, focused on negotiation research, training, consulting, and deal making, a frequent speaker in management development programs, and a negotiation consultant for both corporate and government organizations in nine countries.
Join SMU Cox’s Graduate Admissions office and scholar-practitioners, Joanna Grossman and Robin Pinkley for the opportunity to listen, learn, and act, as we make another step toward pay equity for all.
