Lion Heart Dance Company is excited to announce their Youth Intensive for Jan 2020 - an opportunity for a select group of promising dancers to train at an elite level with some of Australia's best teachers.

Over 5 days, dancers will spend mornings engaging in 2 hour workshops with leading contemporary dance teachers and choreographers including Zoee Marsh, Petros Treklis, Benjamin Curé and more. Each afternoon, the dancers will work on a piece of repertoire with the company director and on the final day, will be involved in an on-location shoot, filming the piece. Youth Intensive dancers will also be invited to perform the learnt work as a guest piece during the adult company's major season, later in 2020.

Application Checklist:
- Aged 13 - 19
- Upload a 1min solo to instagram and tag @lionheart.dc and #LHDCYouth2020
     - Focus on artistry, technique and expression. We don't want to see a series of tricks!
- Complete the rego form below
- Get a parent/guardian's permission to apply
- Ensure you're available for the entire program

Successful applicants will be notified by email and will be required to complete all permission and registration forms, payments and sizing forms by the due date to secure their spot. Places are strictly limited to preserve the integrity of the experience and failure to submit forms on time may result in your position being offered to another applicant.
