The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) has recently announced proposed changes its to Assumed Practices policy - CRRT.B.10.020. Members of the Illinois P-20 Network Dual Credit Think Tank will highlight specific sections of this announcement and share other information as it pertains to dual credit instructor approvals in the State of Illinois

The Illinois P-20 Network Dual Credit Think Tank is made up of a diverse group of secondary and postsecondary educators committed to supporting dual credit opportunities for students across the State of Illinois. This HLC announcement directly relates to much of the work in which the Illinois P-20 Network Dual Credit Think Tank and other dual credit advocates have engaged in recent years.
