Yoga for Vital Bones - free virtual practice

Welcome!

The "Yoga for Vital Bones" Class is designed for anyone with a skeleton but it is especially helpful to folks diagnosed with, or having a family history of, conditions of diminishing bone mass: osteopenia or osteoporosis.

Since we are all sheltering in place, this is my offering to help us all stay well and will continue as long as there is interest.

In the class we explore proven yoga principles, practices, and poses based on Dr Fishman's method and other experts to support and improve the health of your skeleton, improve balance, range of motion, and muscular strength to reduce the risk of falling, and learn how yoga can provide the weight-bearing exercise you need to build healthy bone.

Class takes place live on Zoom video conferencing Wednesdays @ 10:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. Pacific time zone and are shared on a private Facebook page you will be invited to join.

Details on how to join the live class will be emailed to you once you complete the registration form and waiver (see link below).
