Watch Me Work is a live gallery featuring notable Egyptian socio-political artist, Ganzeer (a.k.a. "the Banksy of Eqypt"). Come and go anytime during this viewing and witness a piece of fine art being made in real-time. The viewers will have the opportunity to ask questions during breaks and contribute to the painting. (Featuring DJ Fatin!)
Panel and Discussion 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
With a panel moderated by Harvard alum, Ahmad Maksoud, participate in a conversation with famed musician and award-winning activist Ramy Essam, Tony-nominated actor and award-winning writer-director Arian Moayed, and expert of Arab and Muslim Media and author, Dr. Sahar Khalis— centered around how MENA countries have engaged in revolution via art within the last decade, how its been effective, how that art has been consumed by the rest of the world, and the effects/consequences of the western perspective. The panel will conclude with a live performance by Ramy Essam.
