Please complete the form below if you would like to apply to deliver a technology demonstration at CHT2023.

SUBMISSION GUIDANCE
  • The deadline to submit an application is 5pm on Friday 18 August 2023.
  • Applications will be reviewed by the conference committee. Applicants will be informed of the outcome by Monday 04 September 2023.
  • Successful applicants will need to pre-record their technology demonstration by 12pm on Monday 09 October 2023 and be available for a live Q&A discussion during the conference on either Wednesday 08 November or Thursday 09 November 2023. Please note that pre-recorded demonstrations are required ahead of the conference in order to integrate them into the conference platform.
  • The exact timings of technology demonstrations are to be confirmed, but we anticipate that there will be a 15-20 minute pre-recorded technology demonstration followed by 10-15 minutes of live Q&A during the conference.
  • Technology demonstrations need to relate to child health.
  • The Child Health Technology conference attracts a large, international audience from academia, healthcare, industry, charities, and voluntary groups, and therefore technology demonstrations need to presented using lay/non-specialist language.
  • Only technologies that can be clearly demonstrated (i.e., at least in prototype development) will be accepted.
  • If you would like to send a photo or video to support your application, please email this to the team at cypmedtech@nihr.ac.uk after submission.
  • Please contact the team if you have any questions: cypmedtech@nihr.ac.uk.
