Wellington Hockey is pleased to announce we are hosting a Hockey NZ Level 1 Umpire theory course on May 1st at the National Hockey Stadium. The Level 1 course is suitable for umpires who are able to umpire at National U18 tournament level or equivalent (open grade P1/P2). If you have completed your Level 1 theory in the past (over 12 months ago) you are required to complete this theory component again. Wellington Hockey will work with attendees to ensure they complete their practical assessments in the 2021 season.

Wellington Hockey will cover all associated costs of the course for local umpires who’s registrations are accepted. For umpires from outside the Wellington Association there will be a $30 fee, and your association will be responsible for arranging your practical assessments.
