Deadline for proposals: Sunday, September 26, 2021
The ORTESOL conference organizers invite participants to address the theme for this year’s Fall 2021 virtual conference, Navigating the New Reality Both Inside and Outside the Classroom, by sharing presentations about technology, digital literacy, the digital divide, learning models, and advocacy for students, educators, and programs.

The four strands focus on issues around delivering education and instruction in the post-pandemic world. We recognize that this “new reality” includes advocacy for policy changes and updates, allocating resources; including increased funding, and the inclusion and outreach to learners in our community. We invite proposals that address one or more of these four strands:

Strand 1: Using technology and digital resources in the classroom and virtual learning environments.
Strand 2: Increasing digital literacy and narrowing the digital divide.
Strand 3: Post-pandemic learning models: face to face, hybrid, hyflex, remote, online
Strand 4: Advocacy at the local, state, and national level.
