EEAI strives to ensure that everyone has a seat at the table, and we encourage attendees of all identities and backgrounds to attend the EEAI Annual Conference. EEAI is eager to engage often under-represented groups and educators that have not been able to attend the EEAI conference in the past. These scholarships are intended to help diversify participation in the conference and increase inclusivity in our community.
Scholarships will cover full conference registration fee.
The scholarship does not cover field experiences or workshops that have an extra fee. It also does not cover travel or lodging expenses. Meals that are included in the full conference registration are covered with the scholarship.
Scholarship applications will be open on a rolling basis until funds available have been exhausted.
Who is eligible?
Environmental education professionals, naturalists, interpreters, youth/scout group/homeschool leaders, K–12 classroom teachers and administrators, college/university faculty, pre-service educators, students and volunteers working in environmental education or a closely-related field. We have grant funds to cover several under-represented demographics but are planning to extend scholarships to as many educators as we can. We want to see you at our conference!
