Singing, a way to express our thoughts and feelings, has the power to alter our moods and conjure up memories. Having lived through the pandemic over the past two years, we are now slowly seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. As we navigate through this path, we start hearing sounds of hope that bring us to a new normal. Even during the challenging time of the pandemic, though, we did remain resilient and positive - often singing through our greatest woes, a Filipino trait that even other nations admire.

The UP Alumni Association in America, Inc. (UPAAA) is cosponsoring a live concert, TATLONG KORO: MALAYA KA, PILIPINO, on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 7:30 pm EST, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Secaucus, New Jersey.

This concert is being organized In celebration of the Philippine Independence Month. The featured choirs are 1) The Kayumanggi Chorale, Inc., recipient of the 2021 Presidential Linkapil Award, 2) the Filharmonix Choir, and 3) The Bayanihan Singers. Handang Tumulong Foundation, Inc. (HTFI) is the fifth cosponsor of the event.

Funds raised during the concert are earmarked for various projects of the five sponsoring organizations, as they convey the message of love, peace and harmony while commemorating the birth of our Filipino freedom.

To commemorate this event, we are publishing a souvenir journal and would like to solicit your support by placing an advertisement. All advertisers will receive a copy of the journal and a receipt of your contribution, tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
