West Side Giving Circle Organizational Interest Form
Thank you for your interest in the West Side Giving Circle of Chicago Foundation for Women!  We are grateful for your interest in our Giving Circle. To find out more about our Circle, membership, and grantmaking, you can visit our website at https://www.cfw.org/west-side-giving-circle/. 

This form is provided both for organizations interested in signing up to learn more about our grantmaking and  organizations who are interested in opportunities to tell us more about your organization's work. Please note the eligibility requirements below to receive funding from the West Side Giving Circle: 
  • Primary target population: Black womxn, girls, trans and gender non-binary people
  • Primary service area: West Side of Chicago with priority given to work being done in Austin, East and West Garfield Park, and North Lawndale
  • Priority to organizations that are Black-Women-Led (ED/CEO and/or Board President/Chair identify as a Black Woman)
  • Board and staff diversity metrics: 50% of staff leadership and 40% of board members identify as a woman, 33% of staff leadership and 25% of board members identify as a person of color
  • Align with CFW's Guiding Principles (see below)
  • Priority to organizations with operating budgets of $1 million or less
  • 501c3 or fiscally sponsored by a 501c3
