IMEC Employment Application form
All applicants must read and acknowledge the below requirements for employment at Industrial Machine and Engineering Company (IMEC). Falsification of information or making false assertions on the application or this agreement will result in the application being disqualified from potential employment. If after employment, it is found that the employee falsified the application, the employee will be subject to disciplinary actions up to and including termination.
IMEC shop employees must be able to perform and work in the following conditions
• Lift and handle weights of 50 lbs.
• Stand at workstation for a minimum of 8 hours
• Use and understand basic mathematics
• Perform repetitive movements or motions
IMEC may conduct both criminal background checks and employment verification checks. Applicants may be required to submit to a drug scan. Only negative findings can result in employment opportunities being extended.
All employment at IMEC is employment “at-will”. Neither the application process, nor any subsequent interviews can be considered employment contracts.
I understand that any false or misleading statements or omissions made herein or hereafter, at the sole discretion of the company, may render this application void and may result in termination should employment have been offered or granted.
In the event that employment with the Company is granted, I agree and promise to abide by all pertinent rules, policies and procedures regarding employee conduct, drug/alcohol policies and any others that affect my employment with the Company. I understand that these rules and procedures are subject to amend. At no time shall any rules, policies or procedures change the terms of this employment other than for “employment at-will” which means at any time, for any reason, the Company may terminate my employment, with or without cause, with or without notice just as you the employee would have the right to terminate your employment, with or without cause, with or without notice.
