Ballet at Little Big Minds, Spring, 2024
Dance develops rhythm, expression, coordination, poise, physical control, and endurance. Students will learn basic ballet positions and technique as the basis for creative movement. They will develop rhythm and physical control while cultivating expression through dance.

Ballet classes explore classical dance techniques such as port de bras (arms), foot positions, tendus, plié, ronde jambe, relevé, sautés (jumps), turns, leaps across the floor exercises, and movement combinations. Cultural and history elements are incorporated through books, stories and activities.

Tuition
Tuition is charged a semester basis with 15 weeks of classes, plus a performance, totaling 16 sessions. Monday class prices are adjusted for national holidays. School holidays and breaks follow the Little Big Minds campus calendar. Generally, the final demonstration will be held at the end of the 16th class session. On some campuses, flamenco may be included in the end--of-term campus-wide celebrations. For schools offering both flamenco and ballet, a combined performance will be scheduled.

Uptown Campus:         Monday                1:15-2:15 pm, starting Jan. 22.  14 sessions: $425
Scottsdale Campus:    Tuesday               1:15-2:15 pm, starting Jan. 16.  16 sessions: $475


NOTE: Multiple enrollments qualify for a 20% discount on the second enrollment. For example, if you have siblings attending ballet, the total for both students is $855 for the semester. If one child enrolls in both ballet and flamenco, the total is $855 for the semester.

Dance Attire
Proper clothes create a special atmosphere and promote a learning mindset within the classroom! Please provide the following for your children:

GIRLS

Ballet: black leotard/skirt one piece, pink or flesh-tone tights and ballet shoes.
NOTE: Please do NOT purchase shoes with ties (bows) on the front. 

BOYS
White or black t-shirt, active-wear pants, and black ballet shoes. Socks are optional.

Dance teachers will assist students in dressing out for dance. Please think ahead and help us facilitate the transition by having students wear their tights and easy-change dresses to school on dancing days! Please label ALL dance clothes and shoes with your child's name.

Payment
Semester tuition in the amount of $475 is due the first day of class. Payment may be made by check to Spanish Arts, LLC, or, by Venmo (Julia-Chacon), Zelle, GooglePay, or Facebook to 602-741-9495. For security, please text me and I will send  a QR code to my Venmo account. I look forward to sharing flamenco with your family!
