Weekly Backpack Food
Dear Families,

In this ever changing economic climate sometimes we find ourselves in need of outside resources and assistance.  We strive to make sure that each and every student has the necessary resources to help them achieve their best. We participate in a Backpack Coalition program here at Horizon Elementary School. This program provides a bag with various food items that your child/children can eat when at home. (Examples: cereal bars, applesauce, granola bars, fruit cups, canned tuna, pasta cups). Students will receive a bag to bring home each Friday with food items. This will occur as often as food supplies and support allow. Occasionally other items and information about free resources may be included with the food in the bag.

If your child is a hybrid student, please include the days when you sign up below so the bag can be sent home with your child. If your child is a distance learning student, you can still participate by picking up the bag at Horizon each week on Thursday afternoon by 1 pm.
