The Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta Commission on Youth Ministry is now accepting applications for the 2020-2021 school year! The Commission on Youth Ministry's purpose is to plan and facilitate multiple diocesan youth events throughout the school year. The Commission consists of youth and adults committed to living into our purpose statement for diocesan youth ministry - to form disciples by sharing the unconditional love and inclusivity of Jesus Christ. The commission lives into this purpose by planning and facilitating diocesan youth events including both DYC Retreats, the Overnight @ Annual Council, and the Hunger Walk/Run Eucharist. This form is intended for rising 10th grade youth and adults 1 year removed from high school that wish to apply for the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta Commission on Youth Ministry. Requirements:
-Must be serving on only other youth steering committee
-Must be in high school during the 2020-2021 (to serve as a youth)
-Must be able to attend the all day Commission Training on August 28 at the Cathedral of St. Philip
-Must be able to attend 75% of other meetings
-Must be 21 or older to serve in Commission Adult Leadership
-Must be 1 year removed from high school to serve as a young adult on commission (2-3 slots available)
