The UCLA Alan D. Leve Center for Jewish Studies invites UCLA undergraduate students to submit an application for the Robert and Maxine Halem Jewish Studies Scholarship. Scholarship open to a first generation student with an interest in Jewish Studies. Student must be non-graduating status.
- AMOUNT: up to $10,000. Funds will be disbursed in 2022-2023 AY. Please check with Financial Aid to confirm that receipt of these funds will not affect your aid for the 2022-23 AY. Funds will be disbursed in 3 equal payments during the 2022-2023 academic year.
- REQUIREMENTS:
- must be enrolled in at least 1 Jewish studies course in the 2022-2023 academic year
- short essay on how Jewish studies has changed your world view or impacted your life
- submit online application by due date (4/13/2022)
- names and contact info for 2 recommenders (UCLA Professors)
- disclosure about other sources of support
- copy of FAFSA (email to
levecenter@humnet.ucla.edu by 4/13/2022)
- graduating seniors are not eligible
