   Welcome to Troop 506!  Our troop uses TroopTrack to manage our troop.  TroopTrack handles communication about events, keeps the troop calendar, and keeps records of what your scout has completed on the path to Eagle.
   For each email added below you will receive a invitation to create a TroopTrack account.  This account will be used to access everything you need to know about our troop.  Scouts can have an account as well as parents, but that is not required.

Why is your Scout in Scouting?
Scouts choose Scouting for many reasons and we want our program to be successful for scouts no matter what their goal may be.

Scouting helps develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship no matter whether a scout has a desire to be an Eagle or just to hang with their friends. Scouting also allows them to try new things and provide service to others.
