TMN: QT Style Matters
TMN is preparing to launch a brand new project, called QT Style Matters. Queer/Trans folks often have a difficult time once they begin to shift away from a binary presentation, or transition from their birth gender. TMN is launching this project to connect transgender, queer, and gender non-conforming individuals with resources and styling tips for hair, make-up, and fashion. Queer/Trans people deserve a style that matches the presentation in which they feel the most comfortable. TMN seeks to empower queer and transgender people to find a style that best represents them! Due to a rise in community requests for education and seeing a need for community driven resources, TMN is calling for donations for new or gently used transition items such as: Binders, Gaffs, Hair Pieces, Packers, & Wigs.

*Once items are donated to TMN, TMN assistance project volunteers will select candidates based upon an intersectional marginalization point system. The candidates with the most points at the end of each month, will be awarded needed items. The number of clients served is dependent upon the number of items which are donated each month. Not all candidates who apply will receive assistance. Donated items which are badly damaged, stained, marred, dirty, or simply unusable will be discarded.
