Adopt a Legislator Program Application

The Adopt a Legislator Program (AALP) is a program to streamline and dramatically expand legislative engagement of NY Renews coalition members by matching coalition organizations to legislators.

The Adopt a Legislator Program provides coalition members with tools, key intel, and a structure to build or strengthen their relationships and move their adopted legislators on climate and environmental justice. 

Support will include weekly intel updates, a continuously updated materials folder, and optional trainings. Additionally, it will include access to one-on-one support and strategy.

The program will begin with a launch call in early November and will be a nine month pilot. The program would be evaluated and then fully relaunched in summer 2024 so you're applying for November 2023-June 2024.

The deadline to apply is October 18th and then we will review applications get back to everyone.
